How To Series: Clean Your Diffusers
I wanted to do a quick run through of how I clean my diffusers! The aria diffuser is gorgeous, but it has a few more parts/ nooks and crannies to clean that are highlighted below. Cleaning your diffusers will lend to the longevity, and it is recommended about monthly. If you are someone who likes to diffuse oils like thieves or cinnamon bark, you should clean your diffusers a bit more often because the dark color of the oil can stain the inside of the diffuser (and also has a strong scent that will creep into other diffuser blends).
This is the guide to a deep diffuser clean, but you can always just wipe clean using your thieves all purpose cleaner in between fills.
WHAT YOU NEED :
Thieves household concentrate
White vinegar
Lemon essential oil
Alcohol swab
Brush
First, wipe out any excess water from the diffuser so that it is dry. Then, add 3-4 drops of lemon essential oil and wipe down the inside of the diffuser with an alcohol swab (you could also use alcohol on a small towel or paper towel). This step significantly helps to remove any discoloration from the base of the diffuser; lemon essential oil truly is the best.
Next combine white vinegar with thieves household concentrate to make a cleaning solution. Soak the two parts from the aria in the solution while cleaning the base (if applicable). Use your scrub brush to clean the base of the diffuser thoroughly with extra attention to the center disc.

After cleaning, wipe out any excess solution, and spray with thieves all purpose cleaner for a final wipe down.
To make thieves all purpose cleaner: add 1 capful of thieves household concentrate to a 16 oz spray bottle and fill with water. I use this all purpose cleaner on everything.
It is a rather shocking before and after photo, and a reminder to clean my diffusers a bit more often than I do.
Lastly, if you have that pretty aria diffuser, spray down the glass dome with thieves all purpose cleaner, and you are ready to fill your diffusers back up!
